improves mother and child care in Afrika
This summer, three students (Yohana and Noela from Arusha, and Steven from Tanga) successfully completed the one-year ultrasound program at the Benjamin Mkapa Institute in Dodoma. They were able to achieve this partly thanks to your financial support of our Foundation.
In addition to covering tuition fees, the Foundation also contributed to suitable housing and provided each student with a personal mentor from the Foundation who could assist them with all their ultrasound-related questions.
We hope that, equipped with both theoretical and practical experience, the students will soon be able to make a valuable contribution to the hospitals where they work, thereby helping to improve maternal and child care in their region.
We will continue to follow the development of our junior sonographers and will provide them with further learning opportunities to deepen their expertise. Of course, we will also be pleased to keep you informed about their progress in the future.
