Two Students, Two Great Results

This year, thanks to the support of the Mount Meru Foundation, Alexius from Mnero Hospital and Esther from Himo Health Center began a one-year ultrasound training programme in Dodoma.

The programme consists of six months of theory and six months of practical training, preparing participants to perform ultrasound examinations independently.

Alexius has now successfully completed the programme. This is an important milestone, enabling him to put his newly acquired knowledge and skills into practice.

Esther experienced some delays due to personal circumstances, but has since fully resumed her training. She is motivated and enthusiastic and is working hard to complete the remainder of the programme.

For the Mount Meru Foundation, it is wonderful to see the impact of this investment in education. By training local healthcare professionals, we are helping to build knowledge and expertise that will remain permanently available within Tanzania’s healthcare system.
