  • In 2025, the Mount Meru Foundation (SMM) celebrated its 10th anniversary. Unfortunately, the anniversary symposium planned for November could not take place due to the politically sensitive situation in Tanzania.
  • The three candidates who started their ultrasound training in Dodoma in 2024 successfully completed the program with good results.
  • 2 new candidates were able to start the ultrasound training in Dodoma.
  • A collaboration with the Mnero Hospital Foundation (SMH) is getting off the ground.
  • 2 graduated sonographers received several weeks of additional hands-on training with Regina Namumba in Zanzibar.
  • For personal reasons, Trudy Elskamp and Heidi van Keken, the prospective board members, decided not to continue their participation on the board.
  • In the autumn, SMM had the opportunity to present itself at the inspiring Global Health Event day at Radboud University Medical Center.
  • SMM received a substantial donation from the Vinckenslagh HL Foundation to support its ongoing projects.
