News from Tanzania! Mount Meru Hospital has named its Radiology Department the Best Performing Department of 2020. This has been made possible by your support.
Thanks to the equipment, the knowledge and the possibility of making specialist ultrasounds, the department attracts patients from far and wide. An important factor in this is the Mindray ultrasound machine that our foundation was able to donate to the hospital in 2017 thanks to your support.
The department currently performs around 450 ultrasounds per month. That means that a good number of patients can receive advanced diagnostics, which is very good news for pregnant women in the region.
The Mount Meru Foundation is proud that its support for the hospital is leading to concrete results. And we don’t want to stop here. In order to give even more pregnant women the help they deserve, we remain committed to care in rural areas of Tanzania.
