improves mother and child care in Afrika
The Mount Meru Foundation (SMM) and the Driving Nurses Foundation (SDN) entered into a partnership in early 2018 to help improve mother and child care in Tanzania. The SMM is providing training in obstetric ultrasound.
The SDN has provided a so-called mama bus. A bus that reaches the remote areas, from where care is provided to mothers and children. SDN takes care of maintenance of the bus and other resources. As soon as the opportunity arises, SDN will start driving a second bus.
In this way more and better care can be provided for mother and child in the outlying area.
